MMD-3 is the first generation dispenser and it has today the largest installed base in ITALY (see installed base list) and is running on the field since 1999 and served thousands of addiction people in the Ser.T public structures.

MMD-3 is suited for dispensing 0.1% Methadone Clorhidrate with an accuracy of 0.1% over the dispensing range of 10-140 ml. The dispenser features and the software installed with sophisticated controlling algorithms can allow to have the same accuracy also over larger dispensing ranges and over long period of time.

MMD-5 is the evolution of the former MMD-5 dispenser and it has been developed and certified later in 2001 to handle high-concentration Methadone Clorhidrate.

MMD-5 is able to dispense 0,5% Methadone Clorhidrate with the same accuracy of the MMD-3 dispenser (0,1%) over a range of 2-80 ml. While the dispenser maintain an unchanged external aspect is a completely different product that must take into account effects that can arise on accuracy from the low quantity and temperature.

These effects, negligible on MMD3, can affect precision on the 2-10 ml range. For this reason a more sophisticated control algorithm is used and a real-time automatic  temperature compensation is applied to the dispensed quantity.

It's target is to substitute low-precision manual dispensers that require in any case to fill, manually or electronically, dispensing reports. 

This dispenser is best suited for dispensing methadone in the range 30-200 with a precision of [0,2-0,5]%, but it can be profitably used to dispense also lower volumes as well as liquids of any type also for LAB automation purposes

INTES is partnering an Italian specialized company that interfaces the dispensers with a complete software applications.  This application covers all the Italian regulations and it is available in both old-DOS and Windows versions and it is ready to start with our products. 

Anyway INTES Dispensing units are open to be interfaced with any existing Software application that complies with the local pharmacopoeia regulations. INTES will provide the customers with detailed interface specifications and it is able to personalize the interface to support any special customer requirement.

INTES is also available to support any customer to realize dedicated software, but understand that often these applications are strictly related with local standards, regulations  and it is also usually requested to comply with Police requirements related with opiate products distribution. For this reason it hasn't developed any application, but has realized products with a simple command serial interface that can be used from anyone.
