Intes has released the new MMD-0 liquid dispenser. This product has been developed taking into account the cost requirements allowing the market to have an high precision and high flexible device for liquid dispensing.

While the system has been developed to substitute the manual dispensing of methadone, it can be used for general purpose lab liquid dispensing. It uses an innovative (patent pending) solution that allows  to control a peristaltic pump using a 500 steps optical encoder, allowing high precision over a large dispensing range.

The MMD-0 is able to operate interfaced with a PC or as a stand-alone device. It's provided with a 4x4 keyboard and the SW can allow to setup dispensing by:

Defined volume
Defined time at fixed flow-rate
On-Off dispensing with defined cycle-time

MMD-0 can use the internal designed bottles that can be controlled also for liquid presence through a a couple of level sensor or connect external tanks (optional) allowing this dispenser to be formally used with any pre-existent situation.

MMD-0 is also provided with a self-calibration method that allow precision to be maintained during long time periods.
